In The Beginning
In this series, we look at foundational stories from Scripture to see what it looks like to walk faithfully with God and trust His Word. Whether you are navigating a season of uncertainty or seeking everyday obedience, these messages offer practical truth for your life. Discover how trusting God's promises can shape your heart and build a lasting legacy of faith.
What do we do when it feels like God has forgotten us? In this message from Genesis 8–9, Pastor Marcus reminds us that God’s remembrance isn’t about God suddenly recalling what He forgot, but about Him turning His attention toward His people and acting according to His promises. Through the story of Noah, we’re encouraged to trust that even in seasons of silence, uncertainty, and waiting, God remembers us, God is faithful, and He has not forgotten us.
In this message, Pastor Marco takes us through Genesis 6–7, where humanity’s depravity has reached its height and God brings judgment upon the earth. But God shows favor to Noah and his family and provides a way of escape through the ark. In the same way, God has provided a way of salvation from the coming judgment through Jesus. Our response is to trust Him and obey His Word, just as Noah “did all that God had commanded.”
In this message, Pastor Marco takes us to Genesis 5 and the life of Enoch, a man remembered not for his accomplishments or fame, but because he walked faithfully with God. In a world that often celebrates the spectacular, we’re reminded that God is looking for ordinary, everyday faithfulness which has the potential to leave a legacy of faith for the next generation.
In this message, Pastor Marco examines Genesis 4 and the progression of sin through Cain and Lamech. Sin takes hold of our hearts, breaks our relationships, and shapes generations, but through Jesus, sin no longer has to be our master. Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, we can experience freedom from sin and the transforming power of God’s grace in our lives.
In this message, Pastor Marco explores God’s design for marriage and family, showing how God joins us relationally and commissions us missionally. He also addresses the brokenness that affects marriage, infertility, IVF, and surrogacy, ultimately pointing us to the hope of the gospel—that through Jesus, we can be adopted into God’s family and experience redemption in the places where sin has brought brokenness.
In this message, Pastor Marco addresses the cultural conversation surrounding gender and points us back to God’s good design revealed in Genesis 1. We’re reminded that the One who created us knows what we were made for, and that we can hold firmly to biblical truth while treating every person with compassion, kindness, and dignity. Ultimately, our hope is found in Jesus, who promises to restore what sin has broken and make all things new.
God calls His people to remember—not to live in the past, but to move forward in faith. In this message from Joshua 4, discover how remembering God's faithfulness gives us courage for today, a testimony to share, and a legacy to pass on to the next generation.
Join us this Sunday with guest Pastor Ranjit Abraham and he brings us a standalone teaching entitled "It's Not Fair". While the world operates on merit and human concepts of fairness, God’s kingdom is built on divine mercy and justice. By recognizing our need for God, extending forgiveness to others, and honoring His grace rather than taking it for granted, we position ourselves to fully experience His mercy.
In Part 3 of our In the Beginning series, Pastor Marcus Morgan explores Genesis 3 and the story of humanity's fall into sin. Far more than an account of Adam and Eve eating forbidden fruit, this passage reveals the original lie that still shapes our world today—the belief that God is holding us back rather than leading us into life. Discover how sin fractures our relationship with God, others, and creation, while also uncovering the incredible hope of God's justice, mercy, and His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
Our culture says your identity is yours to create, your purpose is yours to define, and your value is something you have to earn. But Genesis tells a far better story. Join Pastor Marcus as we explore what it truly means to be created in the image of God and discover how that one truth transforms the way we see ourselves, our purpose, and every person around us.
We live in a world that constantly tells us to put ourselves at the center. But the opening words of Genesis invite us to see reality from a completely different perspective. Join us as Pastor Marcus begins our new series, In the Beginning, and discover what Genesis 1 reveals about God, His creation, and our place in His story.
In this message, Pastor Marco takes us through Genesis 11 and the Tower of Babel, showing how we can try to find significance through what we accomplish, making a name for ourselves, and controlling our own future. But the good news is that God has not abandoned humanity. From Abraham to Pentecost and ultimately to Jesus, God comes down to rescue us and give us the significance, identity, and new life we could never find on our own.
